OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION

Every year, Catalent actively recruits the best students for our GOLD Program: Global Operations Leadership Development. This program sets the standard in providing world-class leadership development for emerging leaders from top universities around the world. Our mission is to challenge GOLD participants to achieve the highest potential in preparation for an accelerated and dynamic career.

 

The Global Operations Leadership Development (GOLD) program is an intensive, two-year leadership development opportunity consisting of three separate rotations, each lasting eight months in duration, at different Catalent sites in the United States.  It is designed for university graduates who have a strong desire to accelerate their career growth in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced corporate environment. The Catalent culture fosters innovative thinking and challenges leaders to achieve their highest potential.

 

Rotations vary, ranging from Manufacturing Operations to Quality, Supply Chain planning, Procurement, Marketing & Product Development.  

 

Our program is designed to prepare participants for a multi-faceted career at Catalent. In addition to on-the-job experiences in operations, the program is designed to build skills in leading, managing and inspiring others. The Leadership Development component includes formal classroom training, experiential learning through action learning projects, business acumen training, mentoring and coaching. Associates also participate in cross-functional and virtual team projects, are visible to senior management, and have opportunity for mentoring discussions with the CEO and executive leaders. The program provides critical on-the-job experiences in operation and exposure to broader business areas.  

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

·       Strong commitment to career development

·       Excellent academic record; minimum 3.0 GPA

·       A bachelor’s or master's degree.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A GOLD Associate will be expected to exhibit the qualities that the company’s most successful managers possess. These qualities include self-motivation, resourcefulness, creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate natural leadership abilities, exude confidence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence in a positive way. Additionally, candidates should possess the following:

·       Knowledge of FDA and cGMP and related regulations and guidelines

·       Qualified to work in the aseptic processing area

·       Proven leadership ability and learning agility

·       Self-motivated yet collaborative

·       Requires strong coordination, organization, facilitation and negotiation skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Requires good analytical and problem solving skills

·       Mathematical and reasoning ability required

·       Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in any format: written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

·       Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

·       Well organized with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously
