HR Specialist

Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in Algona, WA. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium and heavy-duty truck parts sold under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck manufacturing divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies and specialized services. Dynacraft’s manufacturing facilities are located in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY, and Plano, TX.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Recruiting:

  • Assists with AAP data compilation.
  • Administers new hire processes including orientation.
  • Partners with recruitment team on job descriptions and other staffing related activities.
  • Maintains SAP database of records and completes data entry.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinates Division Training Schedule. Administers Training Hours Requirement.
  • Coordinate and facilitate courses, enters training records in HRIS system.
  • Leverage existing technology to recommend and implement automated training solutions.

Engagement, Rewards and Retention:

  • Administration of various programs and the preparing or paperwork.

Organizational and HR Effectiveness:

  • Partners with management and legal with documentation retrieval. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
  • HR Administration duties including: processing of payroll, maintain HR Communication sites, various SAP month end reports, etc.
  • Enter SAP maintenance, new hires, terms, salary changes, etc.
  • Prepare presentations including monthly leadership team meeting and quarterly all employee meeting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2-4 years of broad Human Resources experience required.

Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and customer service orientation.

Ability to work with employees and managers at all different levels of the organization.

HRIS and highly skilled with MS Office.

Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, AAP and Worker Compensation.

Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification desired.

Advanced degree, such as an MBA is a strong plus.

Education

Four year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required.
