Chemist I (Upward Mobility Target Title)

Under direct supervision of the Unit working Supervisor, performs professional laboratory analysis in the Inorganic Analysis Unit on a variety of environmental inorganic samples using established analytical procedures, standard methods and techniques; performs scientific duties related to the analysis of samples; interprets data and report findings to the Unit Supervisor for final review and approval; prepares and maintains appropriate work records and submits reports to the Unit supervisor; aids in the development of new methods, or running analysis of a more complex nature.

Minimum Requirements

Requires completion of four years of college, including 32 semester hours in chemistry from a recognized college or university.  This class is included as an Upward Mobility Program credential title.
