Law Enforcement Response Team Analyst University Grad (Austin, TX)

The Legal team is seeking a motivated, highly-organized, detail-oriented candidate with impeccable judgment to join our Law Enforcement Response Team. We are looking for an experienced, creative and collaborative candidate to join our team. The right candidate must have a strong work ethic and exceptional partnering skills. The position is full-time and based in our Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and accurately assess a variety of requests from law enforcement authorities and governments, including search warrants, court orders, international requests and subpoenas
  • Scrutinize legal requests in strict accordance with applicable law, our terms of service, and our law enforcement guidelines
  • Clearly respond to process and policy questions from law enforcement and government agencies
  • Identify and escalate high-priority issues as appropriate
  • Identify cases that pose a high risk of safety to the community and investigate scope of risk
  • Provide detailed analysis related to high risk situations and recommend next steps
  • Identify process and policy improvements and make progressive suggestions for change
  • Maintain quality standards while managing large volumes of time sensitive requests

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be available to start employment on or before July 2018
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams on process improvements
  • Communications experience
  • Available for after-hours and weekend duty
  • Experience communicating with both cross-functional teams and law enforcement agencies
  • Knowledge in computer systems, internet technology and software (PC, Mac, MS Office, online research, etc.)
  • Experience working with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, religious and political views, violence and adult content
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization, as company sponsorship is not available

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing their work time without compromising quality
  • Possess and maintain an IAPP CIPP certification, or be able to do so within one year
