WHAS11 has an exciting opportunity for a Major
Accounts Account
Executive to join our Major Accounts Sales team! We provide the
culture, tools and environment for you to achieve success by offering
great ideas and creative executions to national, regional and local
businesses.
The Major Accounts Executive will work
closely
with the Major Accounts Sales Manager in leading national/regional/local
and political sales efforts. As part of the Major Accounts Team, they
are also responsible for sales of our digital suite of products
including Premion, an industry first one-stop-shop for OTT, to our
regional/local and national client base. The right individual for this
position, will work with the Major Accounts Sales Manager in developing
and implementing a strategy to grow revenue shares of agency and digital
accounts by creating opportunities to develop new business to achieve
quarterly and annual budgets. The position reports to the Major Accounts
Sales Manager.
In
this role, you will:
- Create a
strategic business plan with the Major Accounts Sales Manager to meet
and exceed all revenue goals and targets on a monthly, quarterly, annual
basis for national/regional and local accounts.
- Assist the
Major Accounts Sales Manager in managing the sales efforts of our
dedicated group at CoxReps and political and advocacy advertising.
- Act
as a marketing consultant to national/regional/local accounts utilizing
station marketing and merchandising materials in developing marketing
plans, co-promotions, and vendor programs.
- Work with the Major
Accounts Sales Manager to plan, develop and execute on a strategy to
achieve revenue goals by increasing shares of business for WHAS on
existing accounts.
- Sell station sports, specials and initiatives.
- Work with station support to assure timely handling
of pre-empts and makegoods.
- Assist the Major Accounts Sales Manager with special
projects as assigned.
- Complete appropriate business activity reports and
forecasts as required.
- Network nationally, regionally and locally to stay
updated on emerging media sales trends, rates and product solutions.
- Attend and participate in all local and digital sales
meetings.
- Work
with the Major Accounts Sales Manager to develop and implement
incremental revenue opportunities within new and existing advertisers as
they relate to all platforms.
