Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Provide engineering support to the manufacturing department for day to day operations. Develop, build and validate assembly testing devices.  Assist in aligning manufacturing processes across all ASCO and Numatics sites.
  • Develop, build and validate laboratory quality testing and data acquisition systems for use in the assembly environment.
  • Develop and maintain National Instruments LabVIEW software for existing testing and production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date manufacturing engineering drawing files as related to changes from product engineering.
  • Assist in the implementation of new products to the Assembly Department and provide full support on testing requirements.
  • Obtain vendor quotes on needed tooling and determine the best suitable company to award bids based on the quality of workmanship, price quoted and delivery time stated.
  • Support the assembly area with all aspects related to the automatic testing of our product lines and the labeling of said product.
  • Support the Maintenance Department in issues concerning changes or upgrades to the plant infrastructure as well as maintain the current equipment.
  • Support the management in decisions regarding the building operations and advise on necessary courses of action.
  • Provide necessary AB and Siemens PLC troubleshooting, program development and support as needed throughout the plant.
  • Aide all departments in conjunction with management on IT issues which can be handled in house.
  • Outside contractor liaison for the testers as needed.
  • Will be required to travel domestically, with occasional international travel.
