Pathways Internship Student Trainee (Human Resources)

- Serves as an Intern in the DFAS Internship Program and receives training in the principles, concepts, work processes and regulations of one or more functional areas of human resources management.

- Prepare routine written documents such as vacancy announcements, position descriptions, benefits letters, training materials, or standard reports from notes, oral instructions, letters on file, or standard operating procedures.

- Process routine personnel actions, maintain and update various organization files.

- Check standard forms for accuracy and completeness.

- Receive telephone calls to answer questions or direct calls to appropriate office for customer resolution.

- Work with other offices such as serviced organizations or the payroll office.

- All other duties as assigned.
