SC DHEC Program Manager III (Region Public Health Director) Florence County, SC

This position serves as the Region Public Health Director in a large multi-county region, and is the "face" of public health in the region. This position also provides direct supervision of the Region Leadership team (nursing/program director, operations directors, medical director, community director, preparedness director, quality improvement director, region administrator) and effective management of regional staff as well as manages personnel issues in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

Must have Master's degree in public health or business administration or other relevant field.

Must have successful completion of a recognized public health leadership program such as the Southeast Public Health Leadership Institute, the National Public Health Leadership, or an equivalent regimen of leadership training.

Must have five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in public health leadership or administration.
