Civil Engineer

In this position, as a Civil Engineer in the Risk Analysis Branch you will perform a broad range of engineering studies to determine risk factors. Typical assignments include:

• Recommending technical direction and coordinating with Regional Contract Officers regarding flood risk studies and mapping.
• Collaborating with Federal Agencies, State agencies, and local governments.
• Assisting in the development of engineering guidelines and specifications for the performance of flood insurance studies and revisions.
• Preparing replies to Congressional and other correspondence.
