About the Position
Madison Public Library seeks a creative and innovative librarian who will develop relationships between the Sequoya Library and our community's many stakeholders in order to foster opportunities for youth and families, with a particular focus on addressing community identified needs. Consistent with our mission and vision, this position cultivates community partnerships which develop opportunities to learn, share and create. This position will ensure equitable provision of resources and services and will lead other staff in developing culturally competent models for services. This position will provide leadership and coordination in Sequoya Library operations, including work activities of staff, facilities and technology needs, and assisting in the hiring of staff. Familiarity with emerging technologies and project management skills are a plus.
