Job Title: Human Resources Manager II - Region Human Resources Coordinator

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, the state's steward of public health and environmental protection, is actively recruiting for a Region Human Resources Coordinator II in Greenville County. We would like YOU to join our winning TEAM! The position requires a bachelor's degree, experience in human resources management programs, SCEIS and experience handling employee relations issues. Job Description Highlights:

This position serves as the Human Resources Coordinator for the Upstate Public Health Region. This position performs and supervises the performance of a variety of Human Resources functions including but not limited to processing new hire paperwork, onboarding, benefits administration, Worker's Compensation activities, Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) processing, compensation and classification change requests, managing working hours and leave in SCEIS, and maintaining the region's personnel files. This position assists supervisors with drafting counseling documents, disciplinary actions and Work Improvement Plans and will perform other related duties as assigned.   

Required Qualifications:

Must have a bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years' experience in human resources management programs

or an associate's degree and at least five (5) years' experience in human resources management programs;

or a high school diploma and at least seven (7) years' experience in human resources management programs.

Must have SCEIS experience

Must have experience handling employee relations issues.

Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel throughout the Upstate Region.
