We are looking for High Energy, Energetic, Outgoing, Friendly individuals to join us for a fun new job at Petco Park!

Sportservice at PETCO Park is the premier provider of concessions, premium services, catering, and retail. This facility holds 46,000 spectators at any given event.  

This year, we’ll be making our way into the stands of Petco Park, where our very own San Diego Padres play. Hawkers carry items into the stands and sell them to the cheering crowds.

If you’ve ever been, you know it’s a big place. There will be plenty of people wanting refreshments and a lot of ground to cover. For this reason, it’s essential to have a friendly relationship with hard work (and stairs). You’ll get paid to attend baseball games (and your calves are going to get totally jacked this summer!).

This position is paid commission + tips, meaning the more you sell, the more you earn. For hungry, motivated individuals, the sky’s the limit!

What you’ll do:

• Circulates among guests within the assigned section; calls out and sells refreshments, while adhering to service regulations
  
• Hands or passes items sold to guests, receives payment, and makes the required change
• Manage cash, product inventory, and company equipment with the utmost integrity
• Engages customers, laughs, smiles and have fun!
• Ensure our fans have an excellent, and safe experience at the ballpark
• Bring high energy (every day, every shift)

Requirements:

• No prior experience or education is required
  
• Must possess a high level of self-confidence with an ability to assertively sell assigned items
  
• Must possess a cooperative work attitude
  
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
  
• Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  
• Must be 21 years old or older
  
• All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Physical Requirements:
• Frequent walking throughout the venue for the entire length of shift
  
• Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently for the entire length of shift
  
• Ability to maintain one’s balance
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  
• Ability to stand for the entire length of shift
  
• Ability to raise and project voice to market and sell the product for the entire length of shift
