Intern, Integrity Management Engineering

What you will be doing
Under the direction and supervision of staff engineers, the intern will assist with the following:  
  • Review and revision of Integrity Management processes and data collection initiatives.
  • Assist in creation of training documents, perform root cause analysis, and perform data analysis using GIS.
  • Develop industry specific skills as well as knowledge and understanding of engineering standards, construction standards, compliance rules, and integrity management.
  • Working with data and systems to develop trend analysis, metrics and benchmarks for risk reduction and reporting.

Qualifications

 What you bring

  • Must be a full-time student pursuing a 4-year degree in an engineering field from an accredited college/university.
  • Ability to collect and organize complex information from multiple sources.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs(Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).
  • Ability to communicate clearly, using writing and verbal skills.
  • Ability to proofread complex written documents.
Added bonus if you have:
  • Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering field of study
  • GIS and/or database experience
  • Experience in the gas or electric utility environment.
  • Competence with AutoCAD and Geographical Information Systems.
