Commercial Real Estate Internship and Competition

This is your chance to learn about the commercial real estate industry firsthand, network in that community, and work on your own resume-building pitch!

Lee Webb, CCIM (’98 ) is the owner of a commercial real estate firm (www.altonwebb.com) here in Kentucky. Building off the previous workshops hosted, he will lead and mentor students using his 20 years of experience in the business. As a practitioner, Lee’s teaching style is full of practical application and real life scenarios. He believes the best way to learn is to participate by getting in the action.

There will be FOUR Spring 2022 sessions. During these times, Lee will provide a snapshot overview of commercial real estate, get into deeper specifics about the investment process and logistics, help students prepare to make a hypothetical “real world” pitches, coordinate a group of local professionals to sit on a panel and interact with students, and take a local field trip to visit development sites. Students who participated in previous sessions are encouraged to join in again as some of the content and experiences will be new.

There is a limited number of spaces available. Join us!

Spring dates have been set and you must be able to attend all sessions which will be held on the following dates from 5 p.m.-6:30p.m. IN PERSON: 1/26, 2/9, 2/16, 3/2
